Shropshire Studios was appointed to design and deliver Deli Moon, a food and beverage concept located within the Wolverhampton University Student Union. The project focused on merging artistry with gastronomy — creating a visually distinctive dining environment that enhances the student experience and gives the brand a strong, memorable identity.
The aim was to transform the space into more than just a place to eat, delivering a vibrant, character‑led interior that feels immersive, energetic and engaging.

THE BRIEF
The brief was to create a bold, creative interior that would resonate with a student audience while clearly expressing the Deli Moon brand. The space needed to feel lively, contemporary and visually impactful — encouraging dwell time, repeat visits and social sharing.

The concept centres on art as the heart of the space. A striking, bespoke mural wall was designed as the focal point, celebrating food, creativity and brand identity in one bold visual statement.
The mural features richly illustrated fruits, aromatic coffee beans and the Deli Moon logo, bringing energy, colour and personality into the space. This artistic approach transforms the interior into an immersive backdrop that feels expressive, playful and memorable.

At the centre of the design is the custom mural, created to anchor the space visually and emotionally.
