Shropshire Studios was appointed to deliver the interior design and furnishing of a 4,874 sq ft office space across two floors at Birmingham Business Park. The project focused on transforming the existing workplace into a modern, high‑performing environment that supports collaboration, productivity and staff wellbeing.
The design reimagines both floors to create a cohesive, contemporary workspace with a strong sense of identity, balancing functionality with a refined, design‑led aesthetic.

The client required a complete interior refresh that would modernise the workplace and support a growing team. The brief called for clear zoning across the two floors, improved meeting and breakout facilities, and a welcoming arrival experience — all delivered through thoughtful design and furniture specification rather than structural change.
A key objective was to create a workplace that feels professional, contemporary and energising, while remaining practical for everyday use.

Two glazed meeting rooms featuring media walls
Bespoke lighting and signage integrated throughout
An IT suite
Refurbished kitchen facilities
Accessible WC and shower
The layout encourages movement, visibility and connection, while maintaining a clean, professional aesthetic.
GROUND FLOOR
FIRST FLOOR
The first floor was designed to support focused work, leadership activity and larger team collaboration.
Key features include:
Four glazed executive offices featuring bespoke units and executive desks
A large meeting room with integrated media unit and bespoke lighting
A spacious open‑plan office accommodating approximately 35 desks
Kitchen facilities to support the wider team
Furniture selection, lighting and layout were carefully considered to support productivity, comfort and flexibility across the floorplate.
The project was delivered through a design and furnish approach, with furniture playing a key role in transforming the space.
Design considerations included:
Ergonomic workstations and task seating
Executive desks and bespoke storage solutions
Collaborative furniture for meeting and breakout spaces
Glazed partitions to maintain light and openness
A cohesive palette of finishes and materials
